I’ve talked about styling this dress in this post, but I find myself wearing it with such frequency that it’s worth another look. Back in the winter I was adding some tights, a pair of cute boots, but now that it’s officially springtime, I really feel like color to contrast a classic black is the way to go.

This dress is like a blank canvas, and I decided to style it this time around with a silk scarf tied around the neck. I have a couple of these, and am not always sure where or how to wear them, but the necktie trend is really in right now, and I wanted to take advantage This particular one is gorgeous, in a deep red and with a flower print.

For shoes I went with my new blush lace-up flats. I love blush and red together. You think that they would clash, but actually turn out to be great complements of each other. It also helped that they were incorporated in small doses with this look.

This is a great office appropriate style, as this dress just screams office, but the pops of color keep everything fresh and fun. I’ve been wanting to expand my work dress wardrobe and can’t wait to find some professional dresses that will work for the warmer weather. I will be sure to share everything as I get it, as well as how I decided to style it.

Happy Wednesday!
