Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone is having a relaxing and fun day off, and have thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend! I’ve been in Minneapolis with my family, and attended a wedding yesterday. I’m headed off to brunch (with a build your own bloody bar- so excited!) before my flight this evening. I’ll have all the outfit details and recap up soon, but for now you can get all the latest updates on Instagram.
I thought I would just do a quick outfit post to get you inspired for some easy, work appropriate pieces as we head back into the week, and the temps start rising.
I absolutely love this blue tank, and actually originally bought it as a dress, but it’s now become more of a shirt after many washes. I’m actually alright with that because it’s really cute to tuck into skirts or wear with skinny jeans. Also the racerback is just such an easy, effortless summer cut, and all I really have to do is throw on a cardigan or light jacket to make it a more appropriate look.
This skirt is actually one of the most flattering pieces in my closet currently. The black and white zigzag stripes are accentuating my butt just beautifully, but it’s still long enough and pencil skirt enough to work for an office environment.
Just add some summer sandals, wedges, or heels and you’re all set.
Look out for more posts coming your way this week. As I mentioned at the top of the post, I’m so excited to share the Halston Heritage dress I wore this weekend!
