Re-wearing some winter pieces

Photography: Greg Beuning

Wearing: Top- LC Lauren Conrad (similar styles by the same brand here), Vest- Tart Collections (similar here), Skirt- Zara, Boots- Via Spiga (from a couple seasons ago)

It’s been pretty warm out the last couple weeks, but on those rare days that are chillier I like to still incorporate and get use out of my winter pieces that I won’t be able to wear once it gets truly hot.

This vest is definitely a piece I’ve been sporting when I feel like I need to throw on a layer without putting on a full on jacket. And this black Zara skirt will be much too sweaty in the summer, so it’s nice to have the change to wear it before I have to store it away. Re-wearing winter clothing makes my wardrobe feel so versatile, and makes me feel much less guilty about buying all new Spring and Summer stuff (while of course getting rid of the old, ugly, and never worn). I’ve been eyeing more warm weather friendly vests and think I’m definitely going to pick up this one. It just looks like the best thing to throw on over everything.

I paired the vest and skirt with a silky, flower patterned blouse. I used a textured gray belt to cinch the flowiness of the top and create an hourglass shape. The print and cut keeps it light and current, and I love how it contrasts with the leather skirt.

I’ll be working on creating Spring content this week, and maybe look to do a recap of my favorite Coachella looks- I’m obsessed with Coachella fashion!

Until next time,
